💾 Saving and Loading the Game

The game supports cloud saving on Microsoft servers (PlayFab).
If you downloaded the game from Google Play Market, make sure that Google Play Games is installed and updated on your device.
In Huawei AppGallery, cloud saving works via your Huawei ID.
Your personal data is not shared with the game author — only your unique player ID is used for saving and loading progress.

It is recommended to periodically back up the config.ini file (for example, to your email, computer, or USB drive).
File path:
(internal phone storage)/Android/data/info.secondreality.fishingBaron/files/config.ini
This file can be transferred to a new device by replacing the existing file.

On your old device, copy the config.ini file to your email, computer, or a USB drive.
Install the game on your new device.
On your new device, open the folder /Android/data/info.secondreality.fishingBaron/files/ and delete the config.ini file there.
Copy your previously backed up config.ini file into this folder.

Save files are fully compatible between all versions of the game and any marketplace.

Sometimes players accidentally tap “Load Game” and lose some progress.
If your progress is reset, a "cleaner" app may have deleted your save file from /Android/data/info.secondreality.fishingBaron/files/.
Please add this folder to exceptions or avoid using such apps.
If you have a problem, contact the author directly from the game (this way your player ID will be included in your message and help will be faster). You can also use the feedback form or email, but in-game is the most convenient.
In these cases, the author can compensate your level, coins, and possibly other resources.
All permanent purchases (subscriptions, rods, reels, ad removal, etc.) are restored automatically when you log in to the game and do not require additional support.
